In less than 36 hours

I'll be writing up a storm. I'll probably still be awake at midnight tomorrow, so I'll grab a memo pad and start tearing away with the ink.

My opening paragraph is etched in my mind. I still haven't decided what to name the town. Nor what state to say the story takes place. The saying about 'write what you know', keeps coming back to me. So it will probably be in NC. The voice is first person and feminine. And the storyline spans around 15 or so years...maybe 20. Depending on how many characters I kill off...and time restraints.

After all I can add to it later.

I'm very excited about the story.

Developing the Plot...aka..Voices in my Head

I'm amazed at how easy the story is developing and how much my inner writer is getting done.
I've even got the opening lines written. And developed a thorough plot.

This was suppose to be a romantic suspenseful story but it's taken on a supernatural twist. I guess I knew it would eventually. Can't help it if I'm a haunt believer.

I'm going to have a lot of written pages each Monday... because I'm going to write every day, even when I'm at my boyfriend's. Better insert that '... lol..can't have my readers thinking I have a bushel of boyfriends.

If that were the case... I wouldn't even think of writing a 50 K word novel in 30 days.

Plot

So far, I've decided to do a suspenseful romance. I'm going to try and keep the characters at a minimium, meaning I won't get into a big chorus like I did with the Lamplighter novel, which is still on the shelf, collecting dust.

This week, I plan to do a character outline for each C and a more detailed plot outline of the story itself.

I'm keeping a notebook handy for when I get an idea about a character or about the plot.
